Seminar Topic: Te Purenga: Te Ahi Kā: The price of living at home Dr Rangi Mataamua of Ngāi Tuhoe has gained reputation for his experience and competence in Research and Critical Analysis. He has an extensive list of research publications and is engaged frequently to provide research services in Management and Māori development issues. Dr Mataamua currently facilitates a PhD programme for the central region involving co‐ordinating the development of a number of Māori PhD students enrolled at various institutions throughout the central region. He also lectures in both Māori language and customs from first year to post graduate level including Māori Methodologies and Māori Research frameworks. Dr Mataamua is a graduate of the Panekiretanga o Te Reo Māori language excellence programme and has a PhD degree focused on Māori research In recognition of the Māori New Year “Matariki”, all seminars held in June will be presented in Te Reo Māori.
